“SBE studio started off as a small boutique, holding classes out of my home studio. I have been mentoring young actors since I can remember, but It was only after I had a huge health scare that I decided to focus more fully on my teaching. While I was working at a variety of Conservatories around Fairfield County my private clientele continued to grow steadily. When Covid took hold and paralyzed our world for those 2 years, I decided to bring my student programming online. This also was the beginning of our large group classes which led to full scale productions on my outdoor, socially distanced stages. We began to sell out these group and online classes as SBE quickly became a community favorite for performing arts instruction, and we've just kept growing from there! We now have a wonderful Studio space at the historic and beautiful Saugatuck Congregation Church Hoskins Hall, where we bring in state of the art technology to our Showcases, Productions and Outreach work.
